Update Information
The rigging of the spritsail yard has now been completed, with the braces running up through blocks on the forestay, and made fast to the bitts forward of the foremast. The sheets run along the side of the ship, and even through a slot cut in the forward fender, and then in through a sheave in the side of the hull. Tacks aren't required for the sprits'l, as gravity handles that task.
