Update Information
Looking at the brake discs from forward. McLaren used Brembo brake callipers on the MP4/8. I'm not quite sure these are 100% accurate, but they are as close as I could get them from the references that I have available to me.
I bought a Tamiya kit of this car back when I first started this project, to use as reference material. The more I compare it with the excellent walkaround photos, available at Modelersite.com, the more I come to realise just how inaccurate it is. This is despite it appearing very accurate at first glance.
The bell cranks mounted on the gearbox I modelled based on the Tamiya kit, but photos show them to be out of scale. They will need to be reduced before the dampers go in.
