Soviet Orbital Laser Battery
This is the Soviet Orbital Laser Battery, part of the Imperium Project, and built as part of the development process. The design was based around the Russian Molniya satellites. Deployed in Earth orbit in 1988, it was the first time weapons had been taken into space.
